Core Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for ensuring that food service operations across stores align with company policies and standards. The manager will establish benchmarks for customer service, employee engagement, cleanliness, sanitation, professional presentation, and overall profitability.

Key Duties:
  • Provide innovative sales and marketing strategies to food service department leaders.
  • Oversee the quality and freshness of products available in stores.
  • Analyze monthly inventory levels, sales performance, profit margins, and productivity metrics.
  • Train department managers on effective planning and operational strategies.
  • Uphold standards by communicating, training, and reinforcing corporate expectations regarding sanitation practices and product quality.
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to new food items, equipment, and methodologies.
  • Assist in the creation of new product offerings.
  • Ensure competitive pricing within the market.

Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in other job-related tasks and special projects as necessary. Attend and engage in company meetings, industry conferences, and trade exhibitions. Fulfill departmental duties as required, including stocking displays and assisting in sales areas. Manage inventory by unloading deliveries and organizing products in storage.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; 3-5 years of experience in food service management is preferred.

Supervisory Duties:
Includes instructing, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and maintaining operational standards.

Physical Demands:
Visual requirements:
Ability to see details at close range, with or without correction.

Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting or carrying items weighing up to 100 pounds, and significant periods of standing or walking.

Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, and repetitive motions.


Skills and Attributes:

Equipment Utilized:
Standard office equipment including calculators, telephones, copiers, FAX machines, PCs with Excel, and food service tools.

Responsible for departmental equipment orders, company vehicle, and credit card usage.

Interactions:
Daily communication with store personnel and monthly interactions with suppliers/vendors.
