Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Personal Support Specialist or Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Maine Veterans Home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to their functional assessment and service plan.
  • Deliver care in a manner that highlights each resident's abilities, preserves dignity, and enhances quality of life.
  • Work under the supervision of the Residential Care Director to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • PSS or CNA certification required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience in a nursing home environment or work/volunteer experience with the elderly preferred.
