About the Job

The U.S. Army is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Military Police Officer. As a Military Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing military laws and regulations, controlling traffic, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies on Army installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct law enforcement patrols to maintain order and security on Army installations
  • Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects in investigations to gather information and evidence
  • Secure and process crime scenes to preserve evidence and prevent contamination
  • Arrest and charge criminal suspects in accordance with military law and regulations
Training and Development

As a Military Police Officer, you will undergo 20 weeks of intensive training at One Station Unit Training, where you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to perform your duties effectively. This training will include classroom instruction and hands-on training in police methods, military laws and jurisdiction, investigating and collecting evidence, traffic and crowd control, and arrest and restraint of suspects.
