Job Summary

JetBlue's Digital Booking team is seeking a skilled Senior E-commerce Product Experience Designer to develop pioneering customer experiences for our primary booking flow. As a multifaceted team, we work with customers to empathize and prioritize their needs through human-centered design. Our team continues to adopt best digital product practices, including a focus on thoughtful design.

About the Role

The Product Designer, IT Digital Booking, will join a team of passionate travelers hoping to inspire humanity through the core of what travel does: connect people. Key responsibilities include designing persuasive customer experiences, managing design projects, developing customer-facing user interfaces, and engaging with customers to understand and make internal design recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Design innovative and user-centered e-commerce experiences for JetBlue's Digital Booking application.
  • Manage a portfolio of design projects, prioritizing tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop user interfaces that align with our brand identity and support e-commerce best practices.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and make internal design recommendations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and three years' experience in product design, user experience (UX), with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Conduct a portfolio review during the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four years' experience in product design, user experience (UX), with a focus on e-commerce and/or travel.
  • Experience in the commercial aviation industry, with exposure to supporting IT systems and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards in project management and development methodologies.
Salary and Benefits

The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. JetBlue offers a comprehensive total compensation package, including access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space-available travel on JetBlue, and more.

Work Environment

Traditional office environment with occasional travel. Physical effort is generally sedentary, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
