Industrial Control System Server Administrator

TECHEAD is seeking an experienced Server Administrator to join our team. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the operational technology server infrastructure and associated applications that support our plant and field control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage VMware and Veeam server, data and application replication technologies.
  • Configure, maintain, and administer physical and virtual servers, Windows Server and Ubuntu Server operating systems.
  • Administer and maintain operating system patching systems such as Ubuntu Landscape and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
  • Evaluate and implement operating system upgrades.
  • Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current server architecture.
  • Analyze issues and implement solutions to improve existing configurations and prevent downtime.
  • Perform system administration, including account management, storage management and performance tuning.
  • Monitor and respond to any ICS server issues.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging and alerting solutions for ICS servers.
  • Develop and oversee all disaster recovery aspects for all elements of ICS servers.
  • Plan, design, implement, and administer ICS server infrastructure including SQL database servers.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of relevant college-level coursework or an Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in the design and configuration of a variety of services and operating systems, including virtualization as well as data center operations.
  • Veeam Backup administration and management.
  • VMware vSphere administration and management.
  • MariaDB administration and management.
  • Python scripting experience preferred.
