Job Summary

The Enterprise Systems Administrator position will be the lead engineer responsible for managing the installations and administration of Human Resources, Financial, and IT Business applications on existing and future IT server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, update, and maintenance of enterprise-level configuration management products.
  • Install and configure multiple new and existing Human Resources, Financial, and Business Applications on existing Windows and Linux Servers.
  • Manage multiple system application environments, including production and non-production.
  • Oversee the Change Control Management process for multiple applications in multiple environments, with a primary responsibility for PeopleSoft environments.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for PeopleSoft applications regarding Application Deployment and Installs on existing Servers.
  • Complete automated scripting with various languages (e.g., VBScript, Powershell) for making repeatable and accurate packaging processes and deployment of packages and applications.
  • Support the development of operational guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to prevent and/or resolve recurring server and/or application problems.
  • Work closely with the Database Administrator to ensure applications can be successfully implemented in accordance with current storage and Database designs.
  • Provide support to Business Analysts, Application Developers, and 3rd-party Vendors in the installation and troubleshooting of various applications provided.
  • Implement, update, and maintain enterprise-level configuration management products.
  • Validate deployment plans for compliance within existing performance limitations of the current enterprise servers and systems.
  • Create documentation of new and existing system and server configurations and procedural information, and ensure system and server configurations documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support HR, Financial, and Business Application vendors when appropriate.
  • Communicate all computer network, system, and service problems and outages as it pertains to new and existing HR, Financial, and other Applications immediately to the appropriate teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • 5+ years' experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above in PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, or Campus Solutions version 9.2.
  • Strong knowledge of and adherence to SDLC process and implementing best practices.
  • 2+ years' experience working in Project Management at an enterprise level.
  • Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Significant experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence.
  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
