Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server installation, configuration, and security, as well as expertise in database architecture, data file, and log file architecture.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with SQL Server HADR features, such as log shipping, mirroring, replication, and Always On clustering. Additionally, they should have good knowledge of performance tuning, problem-solving skills, and experience with migrations, upgrades, and SQL Server patching.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance database systems
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and availability
  • Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes

Requirements:

  • 8 years of work experience in IT or a relevant industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL DBA roles
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, and security
  • Expertise in database architecture, data file, and log file architecture
  • Experience with SQL Server HADR features
  • Good knowledge of performance tuning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with migrations, upgrades, and SQL Server patching
