Nurse Educator and Trainer Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Nurse Educator and Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and education to staff on medication administration, CPR, and Universal Precautions, as well as ensuring agency compliance with medication administration program requirements.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial and ongoing training to staff on medication administration, CPR, and Universal Precautions
  • Delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed staff, as appropriate
  • Evaluate the skills and knowledge of unlicensed staff
  • Ensure agency compliance with medication administration program requirements
  • Maintain accurate records

Requirements: A valid Ohio registered nurse license, at least two years of experience in providing nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, and certification in the DODD Medication Administration Trainer Program are required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
