We are a leading provider of respiratory care services, seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Birmingham.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated RRT to provide essential respiratory care to patients in various healthcare settings while traveling to different locations. As a Travel RRT, you will work closely with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment Administration: Administering respiratory therapy treatments and assessments, taking into account each patient's unique needs and medical history.
  • Patient Care Planning: Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans that address the physical and emotional needs of patients.
  • Monitoring Progress: Continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Education and Support: Educating patients and families on respiratory care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • Certification and Licensure: Current RRT certification and state license, ensuring you meet the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience in respiratory care, preferably in a travel role, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel frequently, requiring flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel regularly, either locally or nationally, as required by the job.

Compensation Package

  • Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
