Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export logistics and be able to coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export shipments.
  • Process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, and finalize billing and distribute documents as required.
  • Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurements standards are met, and proactively report non-conformances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, assist in accounting issues, and perform RFI/RFQ as required.
  • Prepare export declarations and related Bills of Lading in Ocean Exports.
  • Coordinate the outbound movement of international freight shipments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party carriers.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience handling ocean or air export functions.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service type environment.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong team work attitude and leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
