Position Overview:

Are you eager to leverage your technical expertise while contributing to the Department of Defense's mission? In this role, you will play a crucial part in understanding and addressing the operational environment of our clients, ensuring that the systems developed align with their strategic objectives.

As a sustainment authority on our team, you will collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues and clients to swiftly implement advanced weapon systems capabilities that enhance defense readiness and provide essential insights to our military personnel. Your responsibilities will include assessing, redesigning, and drafting life cycle and sustainment policies, processes, and documentation.

Utilizing your knowledge of Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) methodologies, you will work alongside a diverse team of data analysts, financial experts, systems engineers, and logistics professionals to ensure that life cycle and sustainment documentation adheres to DoD standards and directives. You will thrive in an autonomous environment, eager to analyze innovative policy and procedural documents in support of defense sustainment initiatives. Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in sustainment projects of varying scales.
  • Familiarity with DoD life cycle logistics within a sustainment framework.
  • Strong motivation, a proactive work ethic, and a commitment to the DoD mission.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with weapon systems.
  • Expertise in the military's sustainment hierarchy, including program offices and defense agencies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation Overview:

At Booz Allen, we value your contributions and provide a comprehensive compensation package that includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, along with professional development opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually, reflecting the typical compensation for this role and part of Booz Allen's total rewards package.
