Job Summary:

Chipton-Ross is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Specialist for a contract opportunity in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install brackets and PAO tubing, and perform tube swaging as required.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement efficient fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Accredited High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Proven experience in aircraft structures and surface modification, with a strong understanding of technical manuals and FAA regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Willingness to work a 4/10 or 5/40 work schedule, depending on business requirements.
