Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions within the unit/department during their designated shift.
In collaboration with other management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serving as a resource person for staff and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.

Key Responsibilities- Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with management team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service delivery.
- Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalizes current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
