Store Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Store Assistant to join our team at Hawaii Petroleum Inc. As a Store Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with their queries and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and manage cash transactions.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and presentation by restocking shelves and keeping the floor organized.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure accurate pricing and merchandising.
  • Prepare and handle food items according to basic food safety procedures.

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Requirements
  • You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You should possess basic math skills and the ability to read and understand company policies and procedures.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a clear, professional manner.
  • A basic understanding of computers is required to perform daily tasks.
  • You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
