This role offers hourly pay plus commission (details provided upon inquiry). It may start as a temporary position with the potential for a full-time offer after a designated period.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Welcome customers upon their arrival in the service area.
- Utilize iPad and computer systems for customer check-in and check-out, documenting any vehicle damage.
- Initiate and manage repair orders for customers.
- Leverage your knowledge of our offerings to effectively sell and upsell services.
- Address inquiries regarding scheduling, bookings, and vehicle retrieval.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on service times and changes.
- Maintain detailed daily notes in Axcessa for review by the Service Manager.
- Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate with service technicians and the parts department to ensure timely parts ordering and delivery.
- Process customer payments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience with Hyundai and/or Chevrolet is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- A minimum of 1 year in the automotive industry or a service advisor role is required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
- Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
- Capability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is preferred.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Successful completion of drug screening, MVR, and background checks is required.

The compensation structure for this position includes a base hourly wage starting at $15.50, with additional commission based on sales performance. There is also a potential production bonus based on individual or team achievements, with no upper limit on earnings.
