RN - Emergency Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a per diem nurse, you will have the opportunity to work variable shifts and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
About the RoleAs an Emergency Services Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing timely and effective interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- One year of nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty.
