Job Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced provider who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. This is a hybrid position that will work approximately 50% time in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including occasional travel to external clinic sites within the metroplex.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations, including psychological status.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies/results.
  • Provide relevant management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with our team to improve clinical and system practice performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program, or a master's degree or higher in nursing with completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
  • Acute Care certification required.
  • One year of relevant clinical experience strongly preferred.
