Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing system administration support for our heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide system administration support for our Windows and Linux servers, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure, including implementing security measures and monitoring system logs.
- Collaborate with our cybersecurity team to maintain security requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement scripts using PowerShell, Ansible, and Python to automate system administration tasks.
- Work closely with our engineering team to support software, simulations, and hardware development.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
- Must have experience with Windows and Linux/Unix server and workstations.
- Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
- Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $142,000.
