Job Overview:

As an Armed Driver Guard, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient transportation of cash, coins, and valuables across various customer locations. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for operating armored vehicles, servicing ATMs and Smart Safes, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes to service customer locations.
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver customer change orders and pick up deposits from customer locations.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins.
  • Count and record cargo items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least a 3-year driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners.
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required.


Working Conditions:

This role requires a full-time schedule, potentially consisting of an average 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days within a 6-day period. Occasional weekend work may be required. Approximately 90-95% of work is performed in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including cargo and equipment.

Estimated Salary Range:

This role offers a competitive hourly salary, with an estimated range of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. Loomis is committed to providing a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects the value of each employee's contributions to the company.
