Job Title: Surgical Cardiology RN

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Cardiology RN to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a Surgical Cardiology RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Job Summary

The Surgical Cardiology RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
  • BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
  • Preferred: BSN degree, acute care experience, medical-surgical experience, cardiology experience, ACLS and Stroke Certification.
Work Schedule

Full-time, nights, 24 hours paid for 30 hours, weekends only.
