Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Cardiology team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our unit's clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

As a Surgical Cardiology RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular disorders, including dysrhythmias, atherosclerotic disease, and surgical interventions.
  • Collaborating with a strong, interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participating in unit leadership and contributing to the development of clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Working closely with Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in Connecticut.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
  • ACLS and Stroke Certification preferred.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time, night shift position, working 24 hours, paid for 30 hours, with weekends only.
