Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) and the Telemetry unit (H303) operates as an authority in the application of nursing processes and theories within a specialized domain. The main responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to enhance patient care directly as an expert clinical practitioner and indirectly in roles such as educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, collaborator, clinical leader, role model, and patient advocate.
