Job Summary

Lincoln Memorial University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a faculty position in the College of Dental Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pre-doctoral students in the areas of general dentistry and specialty dentistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach pre-doctoral students in simulation laboratory, didactic, and clinic settings
  • Prepare and teach pre-clinical general dentistry
  • Cover pre-doctoral students in the clinical setting
  • Ensure dental students are competent in patient management
  • Participate in faculty practice or provide preclinical/clinical instruction
  • Participate in emergency call
  • Engage in community service with students/residents
  • Conduct basic and/or clinical research and scholarly activities
  • Support the mission and vision of the College of Dental Medicine
Requirements
  • DDS or DMD from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited institution
  • Minimum of 15 years of private practice experience
  • 5 years teaching experience
  • AEGD, GPR, or Specialty training preferred
  • Forensic Fellowship Certification preferred
  • Eligibility for dental licensure in Tennessee
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oral Surgeon, Endodontist, Prosthodontist, or Periodontist
