Adjunct Instructor

The Lincoln Memorial University Art Program is seeking a qualified adjunct art history instructor to join our team for the 2024-25 academic year. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching art history survey courses online or in-person, utilizing the Canvas learning management system, and demonstrating familiarity with general computer software.

• Teach art history survey courses online or in-person
• Utilize the Canvas learning management system
• Demonstrate familiarity with general computer software

• A master's degree in art history or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in art history
• PhD in Art History preferred

• MA in Art History or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Art History
• PhD in Art History

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large
• Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
• Provide course and classroom conduct as outlined in the Faculty-Staff Policy Manual
• Conduct office/conference hours
• Participate in annual faculty evaluation
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the current position
