Master Cabinet Designer and Fabricator

">About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Cabinet Designer and Fabricator to join our team at Adams Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing and fabricating high-quality cabinetry solutions for our clients.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Use Microvellum Toolbox to design and maintain accurate shop drawings and submittals, ensuring timely production and meeting customer specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the Project Management team regarding project-related issues, including pricing, scheduling, delivery, and other critical factors.
  • Take ownership of internal design-intent, verifying the functionality of products, and providing solutions to potential problems.
  • Produce custom and production programs for manufacturing facility using Microvellum Toolbox.
  • Take off materials, requisitioning from and coordinating with the Procurement department.
  • Utilize 2D and 3D drawings to communicate product details, improving fabrication, reducing field labor, assembly time, and complications.
  • Provide inline quality assurance, reviewing cut lists, final optimizations packages, and overall projects before releasing for production.
  • Drive process improvement, best practices, and new technology adoption.
  • Meet or exceed deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Interface with multiple departments and individuals.
  • Demonstrate commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required, vocational certificate or degree preferred.
  • Two years of verifiable experience in commercial cabinetry trade required, with understanding of fabrication and production techniques preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microvellum Toolbox required.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, documents, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project lifecycle.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to other line of business software applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Self-motivated with eagerness to learn, grow, and advance expertise.
  • Strong technical aptitude with analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with commonly used construction software a plus.

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $24-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
