Job Summary

As a School Counselor Professional with Pasco County Schools, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes academic, career, and social-emotional growth among students. This role requires a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling or a related field, as well as a valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Guidance and Counseling or School Counseling PK-12.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver counseling programs that address the diverse needs of students, including academic support, career guidance, and social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling or a related field.
  • Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Guidance and Counseling or School Counseling PK-12.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
