Position Overview: The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and overall aesthetic of the workplace, including office spaces, restrooms, meeting areas, and break rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of all common areas within the facility.
- Independently manage daily cleaning operations to maintain a hygienic and pleasant working environment.
- Perform sanitation duties in restrooms, offices, and lunchrooms.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials efficiently.
- Monitor the condition and appearance of all facility areas; utilize powered cleaning equipment to scrub, sanitize, and polish floors.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using computer systems for reporting and inventory management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and material safety data sheets for all cleaning agents used.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Manager to ensure accountability for all cleaning responsibilities and take ownership of actions.
- Utilize problem-solving skills creatively to address challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial cleaning or sanitation.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and tools is advantageous.
- Experience in a food production environment is preferred.
Work Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM.
