About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Lead to join our team at the Missouri Botanical Garden Gift Shop. As a Sales Lead, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and support the store management team in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that guests have the best shopping experience ever by engaging with them and creating an entertaining, fun, exciting, and memorable experience.
  • Proactively intercept, engage, and demonstrate product to customers in a positive, welcoming, and outgoing manner.
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits to guests.
  • Work irregular schedules on weekdays, weekends, evenings through 10:30 PM, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • Prior retail keyholder, retail supervisory, cash-handling, and customer service experience required.
  • Strong merchandising skills a must.
  • Naturally enjoy interacting with people of all ages.
  • Welcoming, positive, engaging, and friendly towards guests, team members, and venue staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally use ladders.
