Job Summary:

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Manager for Care Management to join our team. As a key member of our Care Management department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations of the designated clinic, including patient care and clinic business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the designated clinic, including patient care and clinic business processes.
  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Collaborate with the director and administration to identify problems or needs related to Care Management activity and develop solutions.
  • Conduct quality assurance studies and provide reports to appropriate personnel to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost-conscious strategies to optimize clinic operations and reduce expenses.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in daily huddles and activities to coordinate Care Management functions and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in the field of nursing, with at least three years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Certification in Case Management (CCM or ACM) is preferred.
