Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Avondale Station. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for guiding the maintenance staff in maintaining the integrity of our properties. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that values its employees and provides a range of benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Support the hiring, training, and supervision of maintenance staff, working closely with the Property Manager to ensure the team is equipped to meet the needs of our properties.
  • Perform regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
  • Follow up on service requests performed by the maintenance team to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Inspect and coordinate the make-ready process to ensure properties are prepared for new residents.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, treating residents, staff, and vendors with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintain the property's grounds and common areas to meet company standards, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop and other work areas, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • EPA HVAC certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
