**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Connect Assistance, a leading technology company in the Road and Home Assistance industry.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice and payment management.
  • Recognize daily cash transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support accounts receivable functions by registering and sending invoices to clients.
  • Monitor recurrent expenses and accruals.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for expense accrual accounts and accounts payable aging.
  • Assist with yearly tax procedures, including vendor informative (480s) preparation.
  • Assist with yearly audit procedures by compiling audit evidence for auditors.
  • Participate in other accounting projects as needed.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 1 year of experience in the field.
  • Experience with accounting software, with Sage Intacct experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
