Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, as well as other hotel equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing room preventative maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort.
  • Resolve maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Inspect property to identify potential and current needs, and ensure department expenditures meet budget requirements.
  • Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction scores at brand standard or higher, and adhere to all Internal Audit/Corporate standards.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with ability to work well in stressful situations and follow all safety procedures.
  • Ability to extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times.
  • Prior hotel maintenance experience of at least 4 years or more is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and experience with swimming pool maintenance, HVAC systems, and carpentry.
