Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Guild Mortgage Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of loan files, as well as providing quality relations with borrowers through the origination processing of applications and loan disclosures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, with experience in lead positions and a proven track record of success. You will be responsible for managing a team of origination support staff, overseeing the input and maintenance of loan data, and analyzing customer credit and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with borrowers, realtors, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the origination process, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of loan files
  • Provide quality relations with borrowers through the origination processing of applications and loan disclosures
  • Manage a team of origination support staff, overseeing the input and maintenance of loan data
  • Analyze customer credit and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products
  • Develop and implement practices and processes to increase department efficiency
  • Perform other similar tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years total experience as a high-performing Loan Officer Assistant
  • Prior experience in lead positions preferred
  • Active state-specific NMLS license required
  • Expert-level knowledge of mortgage business, including overall mortgage lending processes and internal controls
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong detail orientation and highly organized
  • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service
  • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
