About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. As a key member of our Systems Installation group, you will be responsible for engineering and designing electrical systems for our in-flight entertainment products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Systems Design: Engineer and design electrical systems for new aircraft production and retrofit applications, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other aircraft systems, ensuring seamless operation and functionality.
  • Design Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate and detailed design documentation, including wiring diagrams, cable assemblies, and structural installation drawings.
  • Project Management: Support project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution of electrical systems design projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, ensuring the highest level of technical expertise and quality in electrical systems design.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in electrical systems design, engineering, and integration in the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles, aircraft wiring regulations, and avionic component parts. Proficient in AutoCAD, CATIA, or other design software.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
