- Provide excellent diagnostic echo images, correct views, and accurate measurements for different types of echo studies.
- Report abnormalities to the physician promptly.
- Clarify and follow doctor's orders.
- Complete work within an acceptable timeframe.
- Assess patients for potential risk factors.
- Manage patient care and safety, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
- Educate and explain procedures to patients.
- Follow department protocols for procedures.
- Ensure proper patient identification and privacy.
- Act as a patient advocate and uphold patient rights.
- Respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Adhere to infection control standards.
- Document patient history and demographics accurately.
- Prioritize work assignments and adjust priorities based on changing situations.
- Communicate effectively with other departments.
- Employ tasks appropriately and timely.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and ensure routine quality control.
- 0-1 years of experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Cardiac Ultrasound & Cardiac Testing Equipment.
- Recognition of Cardiac Dysrhythmias.
- Understanding of cardiac anatomy & physiology.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills.
- Experience with Standard Office Equipment and Technology.
- Experience with Cardiac Testing & Ultrasound Equipment, MUSE system, EHR, and Practice Management Systems.
