Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the installation, upkeep, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, as well as electrical and piping systems. This role emphasizes workplace safety while executing the following responsibilities.

The qualifications outlined below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintenance Duties
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for machinery.
- Collaborate with external contractors to address company maintenance needs.
- Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
- Identify malfunctions and engage with coordinators or fellow maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues or repair machinery.
- Disassemble faulty machines and equipment, replacing or repairing parts as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components.
- Install and repair electrical devices, including transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery.
- Design, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems along with associated hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including the repair and replacement of gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
- Request tools, equipment, and supplies as needed. Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment.
- Set up and operate machine tools for the repair or fabrication of machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
- Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part assembly or repair.
- Construct and mend counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, along with three to five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
