Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Ross Dress for Less. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the management and supervision of all store areas, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, visual displays, and promotional activities.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain effective loss prevention strategies, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • Store Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the store, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of retail associates.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines.
