Sodexo is in search of an Accounting Manager to oversee the Contract Compliance & Licensing division. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the department head by:
  • Engaging in staff recruitment and providing constructive feedback
  • Facilitating staff training and development in areas such as technical accounting and accounting systems
  • Contributing to the performance evaluation process and development of improvement plans
  • Offering insights during employee assessments
  • Managing and adjusting staff workloads as necessary
  • Establishing and tracking departmental KPIs
  • Conducting one-on-one reviews of balance sheet account reconciliations with team members
  • Providing guidance and support to staff and finance operations regarding:
  • Complex client contract interpretations across various segments
  • Technical aspects of the accounting system, particularly SCAS and client billing
  • Understanding IFRS 15 & 16 requirements and their impact on financial outcomes
  • Internal control processes and procedures
  • Managing Inflation Price Adjustments (IPA)
  • Assessing Contractual Risks and Rewards (R&R)
  • Coordinating with external auditors on contract revenue and IFRS 15 & 16
  • Leading the resolution of intricate accounting and contract issues that necessitate escalation to senior management and tax specialists
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve challenges
  • Driving departmental projects and initiatives, including the analysis of systems and processes
  • Formulating and implementing departmental policies
  • Representing the department in various company initiatives, providing insights and actionable solutions
  • Co-managing the financial hierarchy within the accounting system for all segments, excluding Government Services
