This role oversees the nursing department's daily operations under the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON). The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for evaluating patient care on all nursing units and assisting charge nurses with managerial issues. This position also provides administrative support to the DON, offers per diem coverage for charge nurses, and assists them on clinic days. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field and current licensure as an RN in the state of Texas are required. Two years of previous nursing management experience are preferred, along with certification in gerontological nursing.
