Responsibilities- Provide individualized, goal-directed, and family-centered patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other healthcare team members to achieve desired results and outcomes.
- Work in multiple physical locations under MUSC Health, utilizing your skills to provide excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Minimum of six months experience as an LPN required.
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
- A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Computer literacy and ability to work in a latex-safe environment.
- Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking.
- Ability to climb stairs, work indoors, and work in temperature extremes.
- Ability to work from elevated areas, confined spaces, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted and exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
