Seeking a Dedicated Clinical Counseling Supervisor
Position Overview: The Clinical Counseling Supervisor will oversee the team of Counselors and Counselor Interns delivering therapeutic and case management services to clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and BayMark's policies. This role involves ensuring prompt documentation of client services in alignment with the care plan. The supervisor will assess the comprehensive needs—physical, psychological, social, and spiritual—of assigned clients. Additionally, the supervisor will manage associated expenses responsibly, in line with the company's financial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision.
  • Manage all counseling personnel, facilitating performance enhancement discussions, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Allocate caseloads to counselors and adjust as necessary.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient provision of counseling services to all clients.
  • Monitor the treatment and counseling processes for all clients.
  • Evaluate potential clients and determine their eligibility.
  • Facilitate the intake process or assist as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of client files.
  • Assist in the completion of incident reports and submit client death reports when required.
  • Review and endorse assessments and treatment plans for quality and accuracy for Counselor Interns.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for open positions and assist in the training of new hires.
  • Engage in staff meetings.
  • May be required to manage a caseload of clients.
  • Assist in monitoring employee attendance.
  • Provide guidance and support to counselors pursuing licensure and/or certification.
  • Oversee annual training for counselors and ensure completion.
  • Facilitate employee performance evaluations and discussions.
  • Communicate concerns from the clinic, employees, and clients to staff and leadership.
  • Assist in program development initiatives.
  • Adhere to a code of conduct that aligns with BayMark Services policies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed the Company Service Standards.
  • Travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science is required; LADC-1, LICSW, or LMHC is mandatory; MSW is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in addiction treatment and case management.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is necessary; must be self-motivated and directed.
  • A positive attitude towards clients with substance use disorders and prior experience working with this demographic.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and a criminal background check.
