Job Summary:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a qualified Parenting Educator Adjunct Faculty to provide instruction for the Workforce Development's Virginia Court Mandated Parenting Education Seminar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach 4-hour Parenting Education Seminar using state-approved curriculum.
- Distribute and collect class evaluations.
- Provide final course grade upon completion of class.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Professional background or teaching experience in family dynamics, child development, or a related field.
- Proficient working knowledge of Internet applications and PC-based software.
- Experience teaching in adult education or a related field.
- Ability to attend state-mandated training sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality instruction and engage in a positive academic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
