Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team at Summit Counseling Center - Atlanta. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage patient billing and insurance claims
  • Collect outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve billing and insurance issues
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and guidelines
Requirements
  • Associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft 365, Excel, and Sharepoint
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
