Human Resources Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Union, NJ. As a key member of our HR management team, you will perform various administrative tasks to support employees.
This role requires someone with excellent judgment, strong follow-up and follow-through skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be comfortable working in a small business setting and be able to work independently from our Union, NJ office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring timely completion of necessary tasks
- Manage the scheduling and tracking of Eskill assessments
- Process requests for background and drug screens for new hires
- Verify completeness of new hire files (Kentech and Labcorp verification)
- Conduct e-verifications (E-verify)
- Handle wage and unemployment requests
- Lead exit interviews
- Monitor quality control and assurance calls (existing employees)
- Provide employee data as needed
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Superior computer skills (MS Office)
- Multitasking and ability to work under pressure
- Strong writing and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- High level of dependability
- Previous experience working in a VMS environment
Salary: $15-17 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
