About the Role:The Okta Specialist will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining Okta SaaS/IpaaS cloud services and Data Management systems. This includes translating business requirements into design specifications and configurations, analyzing industry and technology trends, and advising clients on Okta portal enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, support, and maintain Okta SaaS/IpaaS cloud services and Data Management systems
- Translate business requirements into design specifications and configurations
- Analyze industry and technology trends and advise clients on Okta portal enhancements
- Manage the timely flow of Okta product changes to users
- Identify and analyze Okta trends and their implications for business strategy
- Create and maintain a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Okta Identity and Access Management tools
- Strong understanding of development best practices, continuous integration, source control, and code reviews
- Proficiency with modern front-end technologies & API designs
- Experience with professional software development experience with HTML, Javascript, Python, or other professional programming language(s)
- Experience in troubleshooting related to ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data quality issues
- Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Ability to work in a team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution
- Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education
- Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred
