Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will provide exceptional support to our healthcare team by performing various clinical and administrative tasks. This includes accurate data entry, patient registration, and insurance verification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, use good judgment, and maintain a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Accurately enter charges, register patients, and update patient accounts.
  • Verify insurance and record statistics.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and keeping providers informed of changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
  • 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification in the state of employment is required.
  • BLS required.
