Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by ensuring rooms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to guest complaints and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, including cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers.
  • Minimize waste and conserve resources in all areas of housekeeping.
  • Report needed repairs or maintenance to the supervisor.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
