Administrative & Employee Engagement Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Teleflex team as an Administrative & Employee Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our Global Operations team, you will play a vital role in shaping our workplace culture and fostering a positive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for team members.
    • Complete weekly payroll reviews and approval/submission.
    • Prepare materials and other set-up/support elements for meetings, training, and other key events.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Assist with facilitating employee recognition programs.
    • Analyze, track, and trend data, compiling various monthly reports as required.
    • Act as a contact for employee comments, concerns, questions, and provide information to the leadership team and other employees as needed.
  • Employee Communications and Social Media Management:
    • Craft and distribute vibrant internal and external communications strategies that resonate with our diverse workforce.
    • Implement new, modern mechanisms to improve timely two-way communication between employees and site leadership.
    • Curate lively content for our social media platforms, creating a buzz that reflects our dynamic workplace culture.
    • Keep an eye on social media trends and opportunities to connect with our hourly workforce in meaningful ways.
  • Content Creation and Editing:
    • Bring your creative flair to the table as you design eye-catching graphics and materials that are brand compliant and embody our company's values/strategy.
    • Design and maintain signage and other displays around the site to maintain a fresh yet consistent reinforcement of key messaging.
    • Publish written materials to perfection, ensuring they're not only informative but also infused with personality.
  • Event Management:
    • Plan and execute events that go beyond the ordinary, infusing creativity and fun into every aspect of the experience.
    • Serve as the point person for coordinating employee engagement activities with support from other designated representatives across the site.

Requirements:

  • Entry-level experience in administrative support, corporate communications, graphic design, or event management roles required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing, with an eye for trends and engagement is a plus.
  • Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus.

Specialized Skills:

  • High oral and written communication skills to effectively relate key concepts.
  • The ability to turn everyday tasks into creative opportunities.
  • A strong storyteller who enjoys infusing fun into all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of design principles and software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Publisher).
