About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Brigham and Women's Harbor Medical Associates in South Weymouth. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our providers and patients in the Endocrine and Diabetes Suite.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assist during office visits, including rooming, vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed
  • Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, including administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, and coordination of care
  • Maintain neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas
  • Interact with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a formal medical assistant training program required
  • CPR certification from a program approved by the American Heart Association required
  • National Medical Assistant certification preferred
  • Clinical support experience, specifically in primary care and/or specialty care setting, preferred
