Compensation:
$17/hour

Experience Required:

Educational Background:
High school diploma or GED

Employment Type:
Full-time; Temporary

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (Availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is looking for an Election Clerk to become part of a vibrant and evolving team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and information regarding voting procedures, both in-person and via phone.
- Collect voter registration forms from various public and private organizations.
- Aid in the distribution of ballots and manage the return process for absentee ballots.
- Perform various data entry tasks.
- Support voters with ballots and voting equipment.
- Verify and audit voter applications and requests for replacement ballots.
- Contribute to the training and recruitment of staff.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Ilocano and Chinese is advantageous.
- Capable of typing at least 35 words per minute with precision and familiarity with MS Office.
- Comfortable working in warm environments without air conditioning.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
